I had directv for 7 years and then moved back in November. At the new house, the installer told me that I had no line of site. (I'm not how he knew as he showed up after dark) I actually found a spot that is getting signal. I have a ovl 3 dish and am getting around 91 locked on sat. 101 on all three lnb's. Problem is, my window is so small, I can't get anything on sat's 110 and 119. I have bought a dvr and planned to use it with the dual input and an additional receiver in another room. Can I still get directv service with just signal from 101 and if so , what do I lose by not getting 110 and 119? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am desperate to get my service back! Football season is coming up fast.

Most people round here only have the single DirecTV dish pointing at 101 deg.
People who want HD need the Phase III dish, in some areas the local channels come in only on a Phase III dish, call DirecTV and ask if you need a Phase III for locals in your area, if not or if you dont want them anyway 101 deg. will give you all the main channels! Good Luck! look at this install.....
