What is the constellation display all about and what is the benefit of having it? Is it some sort of identifier of particulars on the satellite that makes it unique (like the satellite's DNA)?

A good meter is way more than a tool for aiming dishes. Like the AI TURBO S2, It can tell you about your whole setup. From what the receiver is doing to what kind of signal issues you are having despite being well aimed. It can tell you about your LNB performance and problems with coax. Using the meter talks practice. They are not "black and white" easy to use. You must get the feel of your meter and that takes practice. After using my meter for a year, I can't imagine being without it. It makes bugs so much easier to figure out. And for some valuable consideration, I use my meter to benefit other folks :) Definitely recouped my investment.
