Glad that this wasn't the finale. I look forward to seeing the setup for the final season post boom. They got there fairly differently from the books, but now that they are there I'm super interested to see if they have one piece of technology that is present in the books, but has not yet been alluded to in the show. It might be a step too far for show watchers to accept, but will have a huge impact on the subsequent 300 years (and beyond).

So this is the final season? We got into this late and watched seasons 1 and 2 right before starting season 3 until we caught up. Now we wait impatiently for Friday to get here.

Season 4 is the final season. Sorry for the confusion, I was talking about the build up to the final season in the upcoming season 3 episode 10. They will either have to drop the bomb I was talking about above or it won't be present (which would be the biggest change from the books yet).

Well, they went there with the technology I was talking about. I won't post what it is since it just came out this morning. But I think it was well done. Felt right to me, but I will be curious to see what non-book readers think. I liked the last third of the season much more than the first 2/3. Sets up nicely for a good final season next summer. Again, lots different from the books, but I expect the same satisfying conclusion.

I thought the show-runners did a good job blending the past with the "present" which was similar to the way "Shift" was written. I enjoyed this season and yeah, that was quite the Season Finale.

My wife did not like this show at all to start off with. But she ended up waiting impatiently for the next episode to come out.
