Hi People! I'm new to this so please be patient with me. I'm considering purchasing FTA receiver, but i'm not clear on what I might get for channels! Can anyone help?

Thanks much Gentalmen!! I think it will be fun hanging around in here from time to time. A bunch of yr.s ago I had a 14 ft dish then lost interest and sat.s. I never realized there was a community like this out here. COOL!! Any thing you guys can think that I should know before buy a receiver would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ALL!!
