Just need some text clarified.

From the directv movers page: "Offer requires a program agreement of 12 months of any DIRECTV base programming package (priced at $29.99/mo. or above), or any international service bundle. Applicable use tax adjustment may apply on the retail value of installation."

Am i reading that right that using the movers service to a new address renews the contract for another 12 months?

Yes, that is how they cover the cost of the new install.

You can avoid by taking your old dish with you and re-installing it yourself or pay someone to install it.
