My son went to the lake with his friend, so my wife and I took in "The Simpsons Movie" while he was otherwise occupied. We both enjoyed it a lot, stuck through the credits ("Spiderpig" aria, classic!) and both agreed that our son won't be seeing this for a few more years. And I can't believe Flanders even knew the word, "penis"...

My wife missed the Fox crawl, so I had to tell her what it said. She agreed that we could get it after it comes out on DVD, if nothing else, just to catch everything we missed the first time around.

That scene was in the first teaser trailer; so it wasn't quite as funny for me the second time.

My wife and I went to see this last night. We will be getting this one on DVD for sure.

I don't see the big deal with the whole penis scene. The theatre laughed at that scene. Marge saying GD caught us off guard too.

Good movie though! Definitely better than some of the recent seasons.

I saw the movie tonight , my how hard I can laugh when Homer does himself injury with things (the Hammer) or like the BK commercial with the microphone in the eye...it floors me

Speaking of BK, has anybody gone to the simpsonizeme.com site? The commercials are great, especially the one with Kang changing everyone into Simpsons characters.
