Too bad they can't live on 4 million a year. So sad. The show has had it's day. Time to let it go.
Did you see the Halloween Special last night? If this isn't proof that the show has jumped the shark I don't know what is.

It's an old post. I just added to it because I didn't want to start a new thread.
I think as long as the staff wants to keep doing the show, Fox isn't going to cancel it. Despite the quality decline, it still averages around 7 million viewers which is still OK for a sitcom. Besides what's Fox going to replace it with? Another Seth Macfarlane show?
The Quagmire show will take it's place. DIGGGGITTYYY , DIGGGIIITTYY!!!

I'm hoping they don't come out with the Quagmire show, the Cleveland show was bad enough. But, yeah, The Simpsons is one of those shows we put on just for noise while we're doing other things. Bob's Burgers seems to be about the only cartoon that is enjoyable anymore.
