Single Cable To Hd Dvr Box

Hi all..

What I would like to know is if I sign up for direct tv with only one cable connected to the hd dvr box in the future when the swm are available would I be charged by direct tv for them to come back and install this for me?

I do not want to run another line, I live in a florida home block walls no basement.

Also would I need a service contract that would cover the cost of them coming out to hook up the switch?

Generally, what you are asking they will not do.

If they don't offer SWM in your area yet, you could buy one ($200+) or wait for them to offer it.

They will not come back and do it later.
