I'm using dial up and over the last month or so I have noticed slow response on this site. Are you having server problems or adding too many ads? On Claudes site I have noticed no comprable problems.:)

Both sites are run off the same box. So that theory goes out the window.

I did just kill the stats program which for some reason was trying to run and was slowing thins down.

Speed is back now. :)

there has been some issues on my end too (using both a T-1 at work and DSL at home)

slow responses or no responses this past weekend

If you see something strange let me know. scott at satelliteguys dot us.

One issue I am seeing is the fact that out ISP uses 11 different backbone connections, when one has issues it makes the site slow for some folks however the site runs fine for the rest.

Of course at our old ISP they had one connection to the backbone so when they had issues it was down for all.

I agree, it has been pretty much hit or miss the past week; usually response times are fast, but at night it tends to slow down. Although from my office pc, I can't really judge, because our bandwidth sucks!!!

So far :)25 - :29 after 2pm ET) the site is nearing a crawl. This is the ONLY site slow for me. Are you aware, or needing trace route?

Server is running fine and speed is fine from here.

Please post a tracert and I will see if I can figure out where your problem is. :)

I do know there is a problem with the AT&T Backbone but this is way before our ISP or the server.

OK, hold tight. Gonna test a few threads; jumping in & out now since you said it seems good to go.

OK, it was non-connectible for about 1 minute and now is back to its good 'ole self it seems (JINX!)

OK, looks pretty good from my buddy's home here in DFW. You think so?
