Slaving Receivers

Is it possible to slave two receivers (say an analog receiver and the World USB receiver) to my Fortec Mercury II and, if so, how?

its possible but it might be better to run a 2nd line from the LNB to the DVB World box. Then it can get both polarities on the same satellite. If you salve, you are limited to one polarity

But if you want to, I'd put a satellite splitter (rated to 2000mhz) with a couple DC Blocks on there and run it to both. They would get the same polarity as the main box
