I like it.. perfect for flat roofs. This was installed at a siblings patio roof. I don't see any listed on ebay so those must be new :D

Maybe it was a cut down to size mast or maybe from a RV or marine rig?

Actually no, when the installer was discussing the installation options with my brother he had the box there that contained the Mini Mast and the SWM Slimline dish.

Sorry... I wasn't contradicting your post, but it sounded as if you were seeking possibilities as opposed to making a statement.... ahh so a model number off the box or w/o would be key

hehe no worries, let me call him to see if the boxes are still in the trash cans so he can tell me the model #

its called Directv Slimline Stub Mount that's all the box says

LOL "snub" it is too bad that "mini mount" was already taken.

Yup and havent seen one yet on google or any other satellite forum under snub or mini neither. So this is yet another Satelliteguys exclusive First Look :D

hopefully at some point cuz its a new part and they are tracking them all and sending QC out on every one we do to determine they are acceptable to be used moving forward. I'm sure I'll have to replace an incorrectly installed stub with an original at some point. ;)

Already replaced 1. The moron that installed it just took up and placed it anywhere instead of looking for the solid part of the roof, needless to say the customer wasn't happy I had to remove our dish from it and move it. It was directly in a tree too so it was a no line of sight once the trees start to bloom

36" World Direct Dish Assembly Manual 36DSHRO-02

Does DirecTV have an "answer" to the Hopper?
