I didnt see that one but I just gave it a try and it said "submission not found" when I search by phone # and then I tried name address and zip
It sounds like the rebate tag was not placed on the account at the point of sale. With the account#, Ray will be able to research and get that corrected for you!

I've pretty much decided to order the sling adapter. What is the "correct" way to do it so that I wont have problems.

There is still confusion among customer service agents regarding the correct way to order the adapter and qualify for the rebate. After reading this site I learned that the adapter must be ordered verbally and not online. I called a dish customer service agent and was promptly told that the sling adapter must be ordered online if I wanted to qualify for the rebate. I asked her to check if I could order from her and get the rebate. Her answer again was that to get the rebate the order must be placed online. I placed the order online, and after receiving the adapter, I called to determine why there was no link to claim the rebate. I was told that the only way to qualify for the rebate was to order online. To resolve this situation I was told that I could purchase a new adapter and I would be sent a box to return the previously received adapter. She said there was no way to go into her system to correct the problem. So here I sit with two adapters waiting on dish to send a box to return the first adapter. By the way, I have already clicked the link to get the rebate on the second adapter. Why they did not simply give me a RMA for the first adapter, since it came with a pre-paid UPS label, continues to puzzle me. She insisted that I had to wait for her box, with pre-paid lable, to arrive.

I apologize that you were given incorrect information by the CSR's here at DISH Network. You can absolutely send the sling adapter back, either one! Use the UPS label you have and I will notate the account that you are returning it. Please feel free to utilize the DIRT members here at SAT Guys to answer any questions you have. DISH Network makes sure that we are well versed in all the promotions and procedures. We will get this resolved for you ASAP! Thank you!

What if I purchased from a authorized reseller? Will I still qualify for the rebate? Reading the conditions, my account qualifies for the rebate.

I got my rebate card yesterday. Thanks for all the help DIRT team. Was really easy to activate too. It shows 99 dollars right on the card so it is not reloadable. It is a one time use card. They give you four months to use it and three months to activate it.

I was on the phone tonight with the Dish Network support team (after using the online chat) because I have never been able to access the rebate link from within my account. I ordered my sling adapter via the phone on May 19th and kept checking for the link within my account. I never found it but went to it directly.

Each time I would go to the link (while logged into my account) it would say "The system was unavailable. Please try again later..."

I was wondering if there was a way you could help me get my rebate. I am desperate as several chat sessions and the escalated call to the supervisor did not net any results. I can send you my account number in a PM.

I upgraded to 722k and sling adapter on 7-26-11 the link never appeared under my account. I had a chat session with dish and was told the submission was completed by them but your tracking link shows no submission. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm, too bad I didn't know about this rebate offer earlier. :( I just ordered my Sling Adapter today... :)
