Slow Horses Already Renewed for Season 6 Ahead of 2025 Return

I will be wrapping up Season 4 tonight. Love this show.

WOW, that was intense.

Can't wait for season 5.

My favorite Jackson Lamb line of the season..."I'll take care of the road kill"! (Before he knew he was the Terminator)

Season 5 starts on September 24th.

Still going strong. I found this over on Vulture that got surfaced on Apple News+. It's a "Slow Horses Incompetence Index" of how these professional intelligence agents deserve their place at Slough House. Spoiler Alert - to rate their Incompetence, they obviously need to discuss the episodes.

Why an episode recap from last Sept?

Why an episode recap from last Sept?

Because I posted it last September when it was fresh…

In September there will be 9 novels in the book series. More material available if Gary Oldman is up for it.

I hope this doesn't turn out to be bad news.

'Slow Horses' Creator Will Smith Leaving Show After Season 5

I hope not either. OTOH, Smith probably needed a change after 5 years. Might be time for some new blood.

Nice interview with Sir Gary Oldman. Watching the show, I think you can really tell he is enjoying the role.

It's probably a good thing Smith is leaving. Season 5 is a wreck so far.

I will say it's "lighter" this season, if blowing up

Spoiler: In case you haven't seen this week's episode yet

the penguins at London Zoo

can be considered "light". But Mrs. Foxbat and I are enjoying the show this season.

The season finale was this week. Mrs. Foxbat and I weren't able to watch it before tonight. We really enjoyed this season.

We got the trailer for Season Six, so hopefully it won't be too terribly long before it's released.

Season three really did not get started until episode, 4...then it was over. I rate it last of the five seasons, three being the best, then 2,1,4.

Renewed for season 8 yesterday.

Season 6 premiere is today.
