slow ,slow, slow,

I have a HR22 AND HR20 .The HR22 is the newest but it is slow. The screen pop up is slow every thing i do is slow. Why is the older receiver better and faster.

The HR20 has more processing power than the HR22.

Having an AM-21 also seems to put a pretty good hurt on the performance of the receiver.

I know a faster processor would cost a bit more in production cost but a consumer electronic device should not be so painfully slow.

Its not the processor, its the hard drive seek times.. The drives they use are cheap and under-rated for the function they use. If they would just go to a 7200 rpm 5xx gig tons of problems would go away.

I not so respectfully disagree. Many of the "slow" operations don't involve the hard drive at all.
