Could we see Smithsonian Channel HD coming to dish network?i would like to see it go into Dish Platium.Thanks

Once upon a time Dish carried the Smithsonian Channel HD.

I don't know how often Dish has changed its mind and started carrying a channel they dropped other than those dropped during carriage disputes.

Smithsonian HD channel has done been here and gone!.

Doesn't look like much has changed content-wise. Each show plays an average of more than twice a day. Looks kind of like a composite between Discovery, Animal Planet and History without the themed shows to keep viewers coming back.

KAB is right. Dish used to carry this channel but they dropped it claiming that almost no one watched it, so it wasn't worth paying what they were asking for the channel.

DISH will not carry Smithsonian Channel HD (as well as MLB Network and Fearnet). Same goes for Smithsonian Channel SD, GOL TV, FUSE, MSG, MSG+ and SNY (channels DISH once carried and never will again). Who even starts these rumors anyway?
