So, they showed the pregame in HD, but the game is in SD. WTF?

I'm guessing you were correct earlier in saying that they SNY still has NOT broadcast any road games in HD.

At least the channel is lit. For NY thats 2 down and 2 more to go in October (MSG & FSNY).

So when a game is an AWAY game for SNY (or any other RSN) its still expected to be shown in HD in all the other markets other than the HOME market? The whole MLB TV deal is a cluster-fudge to figure out. SNY-HD doesn't show a game scheduled tonight. Seems odd to expect FSN Florida to let go of broadcasting right too me, but like I said, the MLB has some FUBAR'd TV deals/rules.

No - they each have their OWN crews and equipment - SNY obviously does NOT have HD stuff in Miami for the games there.

Well - YES will have quite a few away games in HD. they already had games from Toronto, Cleveland and Tampa. ALL NESN games are in HD. Depends on the RSN itself.
