Just bought a used Hauppauge Nova S2/69200 LF tuner to kind of tinker with and hopefully not freeze every time I scan 91w.

The Koqit STB is pretty great aside from the freeze when scanning.

Does anybody have any comments/experience with this card.

The Nova S2 card I used didn't work with a couple FEC rates ie 3/5. I don't remember the other.

My v7 freezes 3/4 of the time I scan 91 as well. Is this normal?

It may be normal for that STB, but it certainly itsn't normal for most.

The Freesat/GT Media boxes have difficulty with large radio muxes. There is one on 91 and one on 103. That may be the issue.

I have a V8 Nova and it chokes on the NPR mux on 91 Ku and the large radio mux on 103 Ku.
