If I want to maximize the number of channels I get....
I have the Invacom QPH-031 C/L LNB, a 90 cm dish, an HH100 motor....etc etc etc. OK, so I am hitting a lot of the satellites in the arc, but I realized something this morning.
Using the SatFinder program, there are a lot more satellites listed on that program than if I were to use Lyngsat. For example,
West Worthington, OH 43235
Latitude 40° 6.078'N Longitude 83° 3.558'W
Sat Name Sat Lng Az(t) Az(m) El Skew

For the sake of time, argument, and space, I deleted a bunch of the other birds from the list.
So how can I find out what is on those satellites, if they are C or Ku, is it worth programming scanning, etc etc etc.....I thought Lyngsat had the most comprehensive list, but I guess not.
Discuss, and thanks in advance!
