well that was bad news ... just got back into to town and my XMPCR order was CANCELLED ... WTF is that? 300 ... no thanks. I'll go buy a delphi and mod it for TOSLINK. I am so pissed right now I could send Metallica MP3's to James Hetfeild.

One sortof solution I can see, though this would not be totally digital, is to hook up the XMPCR to the Sound Blaster MP3+ and use it's TOSlink out port.
