Sirius Antenna Inside Car?

I have a glass roof Porsche Targa and really don't want to mount my Sirius antenna outside of the car.

The rear deck has a wide expanse to the sky, no matter which way the car is facing. Can I place my antenna inside on that rear deck? The antenna would be about two inches from the glass.

I live in NE. Ohio.

I've had very good luck with the antenna in the back "Parcel Tray" of both a 04 Acura TL (Windows Tinted) and a '02 BMW 745i.

Have an 04 F150 truck using antenna on dash with no dropouts.

I live in NW PA and have the antenna on the back ledge of a 2002 Honda Accord and it works great. No problems.

I have had my antenna inside on the rear deck now for 2 weeks
and dont notice any difference ..

I say try it and see if it works for you
