I'm in American Falls, ID 83211

From what I can tell I need to subtract 15 from south. If that is the case. Then it looks like I just need to do some fine adjusting.

120 Motor, 36" dish and universal LNB. I'll place more if needed.

Plus from what I Could tell. I removed my Charlie and used that spot since it seems to have a clear view of all of charlies birds and when I messed around with the old primestar dish stationary in the same spot. That picked up 121 and so on so forth. Yes I do know that this will not work for charlie. I"m going to put that dish next to this one. So Yes, I'm setting up true free to air stuff.

Thanks for any help,

Josh

sounds right

Yea, maybe 14.7º or so.
Right direction.

Is your new pole plumb?
Did you turn on tone (22khz) for your universal LNB?
Did you set your FTA receiver onto an existing transponder?
Use the hot bird list Iceberg posted for initial tune-up?

Here're just a few satellites:

Use the "Find My Nearest South Satellite" feature on the GeoSatFinder website to determine your true south satellite.

The following information is used to correctly align your satellite dish installed in AMERICAN FALLS, ID United States to receive signal from the SatMex 6 (113.0 W) satellite.

Compass Reading: 168.2 deg.
Dish Elevation: 40.7 deg.
LNBF Rotation: +0.0 deg.

Thanks for the help. But when I get off of work. It is dark and raining last night. Then it turned into snow. (For the next few days). So unless it clears up or I get crazy again like last night. Out in the rain for a few minutes. It will be put on hold.

I did have on additional question. I read the charts and stuff and I see Sattellite AV posted a nice PDF file. I got one when my equiptment arrived and it shows a little different sat. and such. So I'm back to fine tuning again. I'm sure. They sent me a Glory star package read out of 99.00W 159.90 Tru, compass 148.10 and elv 38.70, with 14.63 lnbf rotation. Now I know that Everything is about 30-40 for elv. I know that the lnb is 0 since the motor takes that into account. So once again just fine tuning.

Also on a satpros receiver. Does anybody know how to use USALS? the only way I can get the Lat and long selected is using stab and I can't seem to get the dish to move. Not that it matters anyway. Still got to fine tune it.

Thanks for any help,

Josh
