Hey guys...

I posted this in another thread but I don't think anyone noticed it, for some wierd reason I am getting all of the Indians Sports Time Ohio broadcasts on channel 657 and I live in Gallatin,TN(37066) and I am nowhere near the Indians home territory. The reason this sucks for me is that I am an Indians fan and I purchased MLB EI just so I could see the Indians and I can't get out of it but now I am seeing the games on 657. It just doesn't make sense to me. Anyone else have any insight here?

Yes it shows up in the MLB EI tier as well... but the strange thing is, 657 is the only "local" feed that I get, I have checked the others and they are blackedout, like I said, I am nowhere near the Indians home territory.

can anybody explain this to me? I just don't get why they are leaving STO on during the games when it should be blackedout and I am the only one seeing this

Are you at least in Ohio or is it way out? I know my market forces everything over to NESN HD and definately blacks out ESPN coverage and some national ones too on 95/96. I actually wanna be back in the Hartford market that actually gets New York and New England but Directv only allows NESN HD in a Boston zip which is only New England sports. Maybe someone on Directv has your address wrong or the system made a mistake. What is your address on the website? Is it Cleveland market?

No. I live in Tennessee, way out of the Cleveland Indians market, the thing is, these games have been blacked on channel 657 Sports Time Ohio since the beginning of the season, now all of the sudden they are showing up, and no they don't have the wrong address. Its puzzling to me.

Weird. Of course you cant cancel MLB package once it starts. All the major sports have rules preventing cancel/rebates. Next year you might not need to get MLB but then, that channel wont work will it.

I maybe misunderstanding this statement, but.....When you subscribe to MLBEI you do see the games in the 700's plus on 600's channels of the team providing the telecast to MLBEI. In your case, if the Indians are playing the Yankees in Cleveland you will see the game on MLBEI 700, STO on 657, but YES will be blacked out.
