Hello all!!
I just bought a Coolsat 4000pro and was able to connect to GALAXY 11. The good news is that I got over 6k channels.
The bad news is that all these are the $$$$ or Dishnetwork 'blue screen' kind.

My Lat/Long coodinates are is 37.20.00; Long is 121.57.48

Could somebody direct me to a satellite in my area with FTA channels.

Any help or guidance is apreciated...

Thank you!!

Does not sound like you have found G11 then, more like a Dishnetwork satellite!

Here are all the angles to the satellites from your area!

since the OP didnt list the equipment (especially what LNB he is using) all we can do is specualte...heck he might be on Dish 121 :)

Lnb

I looked at my LNB and it say something like this:

LNBF 11700-12750
LO 10750.

I was able to get a good signal quality (60%) on Galaxy 10R. Thouhg the only FTA channel I was able to see was a Chinese one.

I am supposed to udate my firmware on the unit??

No! A firmware update will not help. Thats a Standard KU LNBF, so double check your L.O. is set to 10750

Asiamerica, check your G-10R aim, you're probably too far west and hitting 127w instead of 123w...

If you're on 123w, you'll get several vertical transponders from Equity broadcasting with at least 40 channels in total.
