Dish has room on 129, a lot of room in fact. 12 TPs are free at this time according to "The List"

It is just a matter of how much power they think they have to light up more TPs. In theory E5 can do all 32TPs on low power and 16 on high power. They are using more than 16.
Are those 12 TP's new or they have always been there? You mean the reason they are not on may have to do with not having enough power to light them up? That would be a brand new theory. In the past it had always been that they ran out of bandwidth, even though some had always believed they had at least one or two more TP's could be used but to say 12 unused TP's is quite a leap for me.
Not until most recently did I hear the naming of the 25 new national HD's and the plan to add them in spring at least most of them, and if they do so the new ones will be in the $29.99 HD-only pack, so I was told, regardless if AM-14 is alive or dead. That seems to scream at your explanation very loudly.
And I certainly hope so, becasue if they can add even half of those 25 new ones, and include them in the $29.99 pack, I will add DISH back in since I do miss a few VOOM channels a little, not much but $29.99 is low enought to justify the addition and be my way of saying way to go Charlie to introduce this HD-only concept.
Except that I don't have no F$%^&* way to see 61.5, nor do many folks like me on the left coast, if you happen to live on a flat ground with houses 20 yards to your east. Not to mention most houses in the big cities are next to each other.
Yet while everyone is talking and excited about 61.5, you must understand how we feel! Charlie had made absolutely no mentioning of how he is going to let us see the new HD channels. He is feeding the frenzy as if in less than a month DISH will again be the leader of HD.
Who does he think we are on this side of the coast? A bunch of idiots?
