Spot Beams in NYC

ok... so, further stupid question, how do I zero in on the satellites that carry the NYC locals?

Under the beam location column go to the NY link, then check the 99 and 103 maps for Directv. That will bring up a map that you can zoom in on. Apparently they show in both locations. I thought they were on one only, but maybe not.

Aren't the big 4 or 5 NY networks on ConUS beams? I was vacationing in West Virginia and using my SatGo I remember getting most if not all of them.

Yes they are. ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, IIRC.

On those maps, what do the different colored "circles" mean?

Is the outermost circle the extreme edge of locals reception?

IIRC, the pink line is about the edge of acceptable signal strength.
