I have one of those cheap signal finder indicators that beep louder when signal is stronger. Tried to peak signal for Me TV but could not get a steady reading. the needle would bounce around then settle for a few seconds then jump/bounce again . I could not get a calm steady reading on any bird I tried. The signal strength display on the receiver is steady but lags so it takes awhile for it to indicate a change. So , is this normal or is the squeaker defective? . Anyone else tried this recently?

I see that same behavior when there's strong 5G interference.

That does not necessarily mean you can't receive MeTV though, as the squeaker might be overreacting to signals that the receiver would filter out
