All things being equal if I have everything perfect ku band 36 in dish 10750 lnb stab motor. About 50 miles north of Tampa Bay
No trees everything clear.

How many satellites should I be getting?

You should get about 30W to 127W. That is quite a few to choose from.

Goto www.satbeams.com and reasearch the footprint map via your pin point location. Being that you are in Florida you should be able to get to at least 5 degrees above horizon or below at elevation there.
