standby on a 625

hello i was wondering if there was a way to disable standby on tv2 on a 625? i like to keep one channel on for the kids and its a pain to keep changing it when it goes into standby mode.

If by standby.. you mean the floating dish network logo, then this may be your problem. You may have a neighbor with the same remote address for tv2 as you do (factory default is 1) and they keep turning off your tv2 (blue power light) You can change the tv2 remote address by going to system info from your front panel and going thru process to change...hold down sat till all top light light up, press a different # on keypad (say..5), push pound (#) then press record key repeatedly till remote address on system info screen turns to 5 (or chosen number).

You may know all about this and thats not your problem, so excuse any unwanted advice.
