hello guys hey ice, remember me with the 4dtv questions well have something else i have a STAR TRAK 800 receiver has the pink box inside (videocipher) anyways my question is why when i set it up the lower/upper limits (east/ west limits) i get a Jack Error? are the connections hooked up wrong? on the receiver?

Jack error can be cause by a frozen actuator, incorrect wiring, or a bad sensor. You will need to isolate where the problem is coming from. First see if you get an instantaneous voltage of 24-36 vdc at M1 and M2 when you tell the dish to move. If so move on and use a 12 volt battery charger to see if the actuator will move connected to the two large wires (white & red) M1 and M2.
