Bad thing is they probably won't release the rest of the series on BD like they have been doing... the dts MA is impressive.
Is it just me or are the episodes getting better and better? They cancelled the series just as the writing improved....
The same thing happened to Star Trek: Enterprise. Once they started focusing on the core races (a great two parter about Vulcan, etc.), and ditched the Xindi plotline trainwrecks.... Unfortunately, most of the fans had tuned out by the time they finally got it right in the last season. The same thing that is happening here.... The core Stargate fanbase tuned out when their heroic core character types were replaced with brooding, unsympathetic neo-Battlestar Galactica type castoffs.
Go back to the rousing, light hearted storylines from the first two shows and the fans return. (Look at why shows like Warehouse 13 and Sanctuary succeed while the other ones have floundered - they are simply more fun).
Yeah, the darker, brooding version of Stargate was a very hard sell, but now that it's lightening-up, oops, too late, it's been axed... 
Another good one and now wow, we have Ghost Hunters, Cooking Shows, Wrestling & anything but Scifi...
Yeah, that just killed me, Quantum Cooking. Give me a break! Someone needs to start a new, real, Scifi channel...
Yeah, saw that...nothing they (execs at Syfy) do surprises me anymore. They hate real scifi and so if they throw a 30% banner ad on the screen, they don't care...
I've watched this episode twice. Enjoyed it even more the second time. Syfy is run by sycophantic imbeciles...
I watched again last night, had removed the commercials... now they have 2 shuttles know how to operate the ship (kind of) and Syfy sends them on a "Titanic" voyage when they knew Tuesday would be a low ratings day...

Liked last night's episode too. The ending scene was a bit slow, but that didn't detract from my enjoyment of the rest of the episode.
