My 90 year old father has cox cable,with a straight coax connection to his tv set.No channel guide,high price low quality picture,your basic channels at $80.00 per month,what's with that?This is in San Diego.:confused:
 
I would have expected something closer to $65 + tax for SD service, but it probably isn't entirely out of line given the number of "local" channels.

At some point in the not-too-distant future, they'll probably require a box (or the rare TV that can support a CableCard).
