Strangeness with my setup

Hi all,
I use a setup like this one
to connect my LNBs from my BUD to my PCI card via a 4 ports Diseqc switch. My Circular LNB is connected to port #1, the linear Ku to port #2, and finally the C Lnb to port #3. The ports #1 and 3 are working just fine. However, I get no response at all from the port #2 (linear Ku); I tried with the last one (port #4) and same result: no response. But when I connect the linear Ku directly to the PCI card (without the switch, but after splitting) the signal is OK, and I can lock channels.

Can someone here suggest one or two things to check to pinpoint the source of this strangeness ?

Does it work in port 1? if so then the switch is bad.

You have definitely isolated the switch as a problem. Be sure when working with diseqc switches NOT to "hot plug" them. Be sure you PC is turned off and not sending lnb voltage to the switch when plugging and unplugging. Sometimes switches can be damaged.

You probably need a new switch. Only other thing I can think of is a software glitch.
