Is there a way to suspend recording what is set in a 721 with out deleting the timers.

During the hurricane, I had my 721 on a battery backup when the power was off but it kept trying to record things until it ran the battery down.

I did not want to delete my timers. The TV can't be pulled by the backup so I could not see what was happening to stop that recording and power it down.

On the 921, I add 2 recordings at the same time as the timer. With the conflict screen I delete those and check "skip once" to suspend.

The other way that I used on the 501 was to change to once and set the date in the future. Then go back to weekly. The first recording will be the changed date.

Yes Kklare is right, intentionally cause a recording conflict and it will give you the skip option. Why do you have to go through all that is beyond me

Anyone having THIS crazy 522 problem?
