Switch position question

Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I did do some thread searching before I posted this...

Maybe PSB or Iceberg can resolve a ongoing conversation my co-worker and I are involved in? What is the proper position of a 4*1 DiSEqC switch when using a motor? Is is before the LNB's or before the motor or does it matter?

Cable from receiver to motor, from motor to switch, from switch to the LNB's

(Thats when you are using two LNBF on the same dish (KU/DBS)

it can be used in either spot. I use to go receiver.......4x1 switch.....motor.....LNB

but that can burn a switch ouot pretty quick. Now I put it between the motor and the LNB's......receiver......motor.....switch

The LNB's that dont need the motor, leave the motor function off
