SXM still giving discounts

I wonder how hard it's going to be to renew at the end of the year since there losing subs. I hate dealing with them LOL. and stern is still a thing. how is a crybaby a thing?

They keep moving good channels off the satellite and tell you to stream instead. They should move Stern to streaming. I never cared for the guy. Opie and Anthony were far better as was Don Imus IMO.

Over 23 years now and we still subscribe to SiriusXM and still get a discounted rate every 5-6 months. I still don't have a credit card on file and am happy to pay the $2 invoice fee to not keep a card on file. We would't have started with SiriusXM that long ago had it not been for SatelliteGuys. It still shows on my account as being inactive but still receives all the channels. The receiver has been largely dormant all these years and hasn't received a deactivation hit yet. I bust it out every once and a while to see if its still working. The phone app and bluetooth speakers basically made it obsolete.

I just recently brought my old Delphi Skyfi from 2002 to e-waste. I would take it out during the FREE activation events to reminisce. The last time I tried it the radio wouldn't work any more.

I don't even call anymore, I just chat with the bot on the SiriusXM site every 5-6 months when I need to renew all of our radios.

I'm noticing I can do the same thing with OnStar when after a special I have is close to ending I just chat with them and they offer me a really good deal to stay. We have it on both of our GM EVs since my wife and daughter drive them and it's nice to have the crash response just in case.

I've been using the "Chat" feature too as I can understand print, much better than broken English.
You do however want to ask for a Human, vs using the Bot ... then you get answers that can actually Do something for you.

Fwiw, a few years ago they got me on a plan that says I don't need to Call or Chat in any longer, they will re up my plan for the same price ...
I wasn't sure if I believed them, but it did work last year.

Thanks everyone. Getting a good deal on SiriusXM sounds like it will be far easier than the 4 hours of tortuous waiting at the dealership when I bought the new truck. But it was worth it because I got 21% off of MSRP.

When my free 3 month trial ends SXM wants me to get SXM "Play" for $2 for the first 3 months and then $6.99 a month thereafter. But "Play" is very limited and I would rather get a better plan for that price.

just get on a Chat with them and ask for a Human .... then tell them what you want/Need, make that number 20% less than what your willing to spend and they will come back and make you an offer of 20% over what you asked for, then your right where you want to be ... if they come in lower, Bonus.

call in and threaten to cancel. trust us they make it impossible to cancel !!! i got the all access for 5.00 a month
