System Not Always Locking On a Sat...

I am using the SG2100 with the Coolsat. I have about a dozen sats programmed in between AMC4 and G10R, the only part of the sky I am able to see. When I initially turn my system on and go to a sat, it almost never locks in, I get near-zero quality. I usually have to go to another satellite and come back to the first to get it to lock. Usually just happens early on in a watching session maybe once or twice early on, then is pretty dependable in landing on sats with good quality. Am I asking too much to expect the system to lock into a satellite 100% of the time or are there other systems out there experiencing the same thing?
