Now religious video content is going mobile.

Trinity Broadcasting Network reached an agreement with JH2Media to offer the service’s religious-themed content directly to mobile phones.

The deal with the British company, terms of which were not disclosed, will enable users to download parts of exclusive films and specials to their cellular phones as part of the “JH2 Mobile Media Suite.”

Beginning in May, TBN officials said, the service will make available clips from inspirational films like The Revolutionary, about the life of Jesus Christ, and The Emissary, about the life of the apostle Paul.

“Every businessman and nearly every individual and family has a cell phone,” TBN vice president of cable and satellite relations Bob Higley said in a prepared statement. “With content to mobile exploding in the U.S market, faith-based programming is a natural for this venue.”

In addition to its flagship TBN network, company officials said they expect to eventually offer direct-to-mobile content from its other four faith-based services: JCTV, The Church Channel, TBN Enlace USA and Smile of a Child TV.

A live audio feed of TBN's main network is already available to mobile phones (and, indeed, any phone, if set up correctly) through http://www.mymbn.com/ .
JCTV was previously available through the same service, but is no longer listed.
