Hi,
:)
I'm new to this Direct TV Technical Discusion, and a member of
this forums. And I'm just doing a research on my own by
gathering information and comparing it. So, it doesn't hurt to ask.
:)
Does Direct TV works on FTA digital satellite receiver(s)??
Somehow I saw on Lyngsat website that DirectTV is on Spaceway 2
satellite and it's DVB2D format. NOT DSS.

What does DVB2D stands for??

I do know however, DVB stands for Digital Video Broadcast,
which the digital FTA receivers do receives.

So, I'm wondering, would it work on FTA receivers, as long
it's an DVB2D??

The FTA receiver is able to receive DVB, MEPG2, MEPG4 formats.

So, just a question.

Thank you,
ECruzBud
