I wonder how many peoples satelite service it knocked out because it was blocking their view of the Satellite.

When they mentioned the blimp they tried saying that the LCD screen on it was HD. I think someone misspoke there.

The 178-foot long blimp, emblazoned in DIRECTV blue and white, features the 70x30-foot full color monitor just beneath the DIRECTV logo. The video light sign, with a resolution of 33,600 total pixels, is the largest ever made for a blimp. The airship can travel up to 35 miles per hour and remain airborne up to six hours.

And the announcers said the screen on the blimp was HD. Must of been one of their MPEG2 engineers talking.

It's not even SD by their standards. 480x480 = 230,400 pixels. :D:D

Na, Charlie dug up his old inflatable pig (that they used in the cable pig ad's), filled it with helium and had the pig take the blimp out.
