Though I do love the new receivers and technology, there was something about analog and how quickly and easily it was to scan the skies! I never had a c/ku combo, just a C band dish, but now am curious how flooded the ku band analog channels were! There were 32 tps or channels per sat, right? On a normal morning were they all being used or most of them on ku? Also did they ever have tv shows fed on ku or was it just c band?

There is some English language content on Ku but not much. One can only wish that new tech would be developed that would make Ku distribution rain fade resistant so that services would be put on Ku.

Yes but also if it were that simple to be able to get everything on a small dish everybody could get it then everything would be scrambled! A healthy medium would be to one day be able to get c/ku both perfect quality on say a 1.2 meter dish. I would definetly buy one then and happily pay for shipping.
