The Lincoln Lawyer - Netflix

Titus Wulliver was a character actor until Bosch, so you may not have liked his character (including Lost) from time to time. Bosch is his signature role and I can't imagine a better choice. Also Maddie, his daughter, is a grerat dynamic.
Not to mention, the late, great Lance Reddick!

The main reason for ignoring is that these have been concurrent shows that are on different streaming services (LL on Netflix and Bosch and Bosch Legacy in the Amazon Prime world with the latter on Freevee). I understand that the upcoming Renee Ballard series will also live in the Amazon world and I'm sure that Bosch will continue to show up there if they stay at all true to the books. I for one, love Titus in this role.

I've read all of the books in this "world" except for the Lincoln Lawyer books (including the just released Ballard book). I'm reading another book now, but when I finish it I plan to go back and read all of those.

I was so into the prior seasons I've now listened to the audio books that followed and am 2 more books ahead of this next season, lol.

On season 5 of Bosch now, it's gotten a little tired, but looking forward to finishing that. Not a big fan of Maggie Q, so not really looking forward to whatever the other series is, but maybe it'll grab me and I'll start those books too.

It's a shame we can't get them to cross over.

I'm usually not a fan of "frame up" story lines. I'm a maybe on this one.

Me either and it feels like a common refrain with this author, after watching 4 seasons and counting of Bosch. Feels like every season is 'Bosch is the bad guy' in some form or the other before ultimately proving otherwise. Gray areas and going too far on occasion - sure - but often overplayed to the point of being kinda tired. I gloss over all that stuff as I watch it and do other things and just wait for the plot to move along. Think part of it comes from when these books were written to a degree... the newest Lincoln Lawyer book includes a lot of AI stuff.

The book this next season is based on is good, will be interesting to see if they deviate from it much if at all. Felt like it wrapped up really quickly.

Generally speaking, If I read the book(s), of any show or series, I try Not to watch the show ... I don't want to try to compare the two, just don't like that ...
People will do that and it's not really suppose to go exactly like the other .... it's creative .

I use to do that way back when Steven King was doing his major writing (he may still be, but I don't read him much anymore) I have read a bunch and theres been plenty on screen ... they just arent the same, are they suppose to be ?

I prefer to just enjoy the Book or the Screen for what it ends up being.

I guess its a Personal preferance thing.
