My Droid X is telling me to dump it for an iPhone-- spontaneously rebooted when trying to send a text a few minutes ago. Apparently it has its own death wish. LOL
I very much doubt that the new iPhone will support LTE due to the power consumption level of the LTE chips. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see support for HSPA+.
My Sprint EVO has been acting crazy the past few days as well.
IN addition its showing the signal strenth of 1 bar, while my co worker with the same phone shows full bars at the same place. (Note he is running stock sq, while I am Cybergen 7) Its time for the EVO to go.
Both my and my wife's EVOs have been acting weird the past few weeks. It takes mine a good 4-5 minutes to fully boot up, and every now and then when I do something the UI reloads itself. My wife's does the same thing. Both are stock.
Rumor has it the new iPhone 5 will be Sprint exclusive for the rest of the year.
We're looking to switch to Verizon due to Sprint not having good coverage in our new area.

No live stream, and WSJ saying no LTE or WiMAX support, that's a lot of cold water being thrown on the announcement at the 11th hour. The Sprint exclusive rumor would be awful too. It's in a pretty small venue compare to previous announcements as well.
If today is just 4S and all the iPhone 5 stuff turns out to have just been placeholder or things that leaked for a product that is following this one, will be a fairly disappointing day. At least I can look forward to iOS5 on my iPad sometime in the near future still.
Crushed for 50+ minutes of absolutely nothing so far. iOS5 release date and a price drop on the Nano. Joy.
