it is a nice app. i thought i could watch tv anywhere with it and that is not the case. you have to be on your home system for it to work. i know when i had dish i could watch
my package of programs anywhere. when i tried to do that with tw i got a message that i had to be on my home system is that true or did i do something wrong?

How can they tell if a user doesn't have their internet if they are home or not. I thought at least the ipad app let u watch tv anywhere

You have to authenticate to your Time Warner Wifi Network. I have a TWC Wifi Network at work and it won't recognize it, but it works great at home, providing you want to watch TV on your iphone while sitting on the throne

I got the twc tv app for android but it only lets me manage my dvr and program it remotly.

I got the twc tv app for android but it only lets me manage my dvr and program it remotly.

Maybe the android app isn't identical to the Iphone app. I can watch approximately 75 channels on it (not all of my channels), plus you can use it as a remote for the cable box too.
