Hi,

I am a sat hobbyist and newbie in installing dishes. So I am thinking about buying this device but I am not sure if this will be of help
To me as I don't see many reviews about this item. What do you think guys?

Also if somebody has a used device and willing to part with it let me know please.

Regards,

Sami

I have one and use it all the time. I have no regrets buying one and can repoint a dish with no effort and no guessing.

Thanks guys for sharing your experience. I found this meter on ebay and it looks interesting as it has the satellite identification feature. Not sure if it is present in the trimax sm-2500. It is called sathero satellite meter(could not insert a link, sorry :( )

If anybody tried it, share your experience please.

Regards,

Sami

This one? Sathero SH-200

That looks a lot different than what I was expecting but interestingly enough, this one finds S2 and 8PSK. Just what the doctor ordered! :)
I think one of these along with my trimax knock off would cover all my satellite finding woes... :)
