TV2's remote is now working for TV1

I stepped on the TV2 remote yesterday, and now the TV2 remote (UHF) is controlling the receiver for TV1. Both remotes got changed to Remote Address 1. When I went to change the address for TV2's remote, it changed TV1's remote address instead. TV1's remote also only changes TV1's remote address... help?

Check to see if receiver is set to Single Mode, which allows TV2 remote to have control of it.

Its also possible that you managed to get the internal switch, usually controlled by the blue tab, to switch to the position that allows it to control TV1. Normally you have to get dish to send you the kit of tabs that allows you to change this.

To set the address on TV1 (IR) and not on TV2 (UHF) remove the wire antenna for the UHF remote.
To set TV2 and not TV1 opaquely cover the sensor on the front--1 or 2 of the 3 circles below the LEDs.
Use the usual protocol to set the address:
Turn on only the tuner to change and with the green TV1 or the blue TV2 remote,
Press Menu-Menu,
Hold Sat button until all light,
Press address digit or two,
Press #/search to set the remote,
Press record to set box,
Restore to normal,
Verify the address change on screen.
