Two Dish 54.1 Remotes for One Hopper 3?

I have the case where I will be using my Hopper 3 both at home and in the RV. I have different TV's and sound systems in both places. Is is possible to configure separate remotes for each use? Or do I need to reprogram each time I swap?

Hey, dgcarver!
You are able to pair a second remote to your Hopper 3 receiver. This will allow you to program it to your other devices and leave it, instead of reprogramming each time. You will want to make sure the remote you are trying to pair isn't paired to any other receivers. If it is, you will need to unpair it before it will pair to the Hopper 3.

Use the first remote to press the Home button 3 times, taking you to the diagnostics screen. Point the second remote at the Hopper and hold the SAT button down. You should hear beeps, and then it should show the second remote information listed under the original remote on the screen.
