I added a wikibuy app to Chrome. When you look up an Amazon product, it then searches the net for the same product and shows you better pricing.

Last week I waited until Wed after the Tues release, and saved several bucks on the movie purchase by not buying at Amazon or Best Buy.

I own most of those titles on standard BD and so I just upconvert them to 4K using handbreak and they look spectacular on my A95K. Admittedly, native 4K looks even better, but I just can't justify rebuying them...

Just for a little more clarity; everything I put an * after is a movie I own on standard BD long before I owned a 4K TV. So, while I'd like to have them on 4K discs, I just can't justify the expense. Sure, I might re-buy John Wick 1 on 4K (I mean, and why not?), but the entire Hunger Games series? Meh. An Upconvert to 4K looks just great, and my BDs of it are right over there. Oblivion? Maybe. Divergent? Possibly, but not the two sequels. The Bourne series on 4K? That'd be hard to pass up too, especially if it's sold as a 4 movie 4K set. ;)

Moving ahead several months ....
Where are people buying or renting 4k Blu Ray movies or shows ?

Best Buy has done away with them ....
I've been told Target, but they don't have what I might be looking for.
I don't even think they had an area for picking them up in the store anymore, that I saw anyways.

I just had my old Blue Ray die, so I picked up Sony's 4k version, the UBP-X800M2, now I'm looking for a selection of 4k titles to give it a try.

I would like to find my Star Trek stuff in 4k, but have only seen the Movies available, so far.

I have the Star Trek in Blu Ray, just not 4k version .... wondering if theres that much more to the 4k or how well the up conversion would be ... haven't had time yet to take a close look.

Same, rumors are Target is about to drop physical media, that leaves Amazon and Wal-Mart (yech).

Prime Day, I spend way too much on discs.
