UNWANTED TIMERS ON DVR

I recently tried to record a movie at my ranch and wound up scrolling to far over and got one of "those movies". I need to find out how to delete the timer that is recorded when you hit the "dvr" button and go to timers. Needless to say, divorce would soon be on the way if I cant fix this. Someone please help me here.

Select the movie/dvr in question; select 'Timer'; then select 'Delete'.
