Why do you say that? Black against a grey sky, or even a blue sky or a white cloud, stands out rather dramatically.

Unnatural gray sticks out on desert homes very much so. The black looks almost natural, or blended in, and easier to aesthetically conceal here in the Valley.

I know mine is a DPP WA4 What is the difference between the WA4 and the 1K4?

A WA.4 is a 1k.4 Western Arc antenna. A EA.4 would be a 1K.4 Eastern Arc antenna.

You're not paying attention.
You have 2 choices for a Hopper 3. A new 1000.2 Dish with a HYBRID LNBF or the current dish with a 3rd cable coming from the third output on the LNBF to a 42 switch, WITH a power inserter.
That's it. There is NO other way to make a Hopper 3 work. None, zero.

Decided on the 42 switch.
