But you can't use that LNB on a 1K4 dish properly. So, the 42 switch you decided on is the right choice.

If you had DISH do the installation they would upgrade everything that needs to be upgraded to make things work correctly.

When I saw the word free that was the password to let DISH do the installation. Will hopefully I get a new dish. Mine has blemishes. Could make for a weaker signal.

It's a 1000.4, if I remember correctly, they are going to replace it...
